ABOUT US
The Department of Public Safety Credit Union is a nonprofit financial institution serving employees of
all public safety organizations in the State of Georgia. Most of our membership is made up of employees of the Department
of Public Safety, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Driver Services.
We currently serve
over 2900 members and our assets are at $12 million. The
Department of Public Safety Credit Union was chartered in 1970. We offer a full range of products and services
from share savings, share certificates, share draft accounts, debit cards, VISA credit cards, consumer loans- new and used
vehicle loans, signature loans, and home equity loans.
We
have 5 full-time employees and 2 locations to serve you. Our main office is located in the Headquarters office of the
Georgia Department of Public Safety and our branch office is located at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forysth,
Georgia.
